  • Marcy White - Junior HR Advisor

Marcy White - Junior HR Advisor

Hi, my name is Marcy and I work within the HR Department at Xbite.

I applied to work at Xbite as I knew it had a great reputation in my local area, with a fresh outlook. I started out by assisting with day to day HR duties and slowly began organising events with my department for the whole company, including charity and fundraising events. Alongside this I also completed my Level 3 Apprenticeship gaining experience from all angles.

I’m now a permanent member of staff at Xbite. I am responsible for all of the apprenticeship recruitment in the company, induct new employees and create contracts. I also have my own projects that I work on regularly. I’m starting my CIPD qualifications in the upcoming months, which I’m so excited about!

Working at Xbite has been a great start to my career in HR and pushed me in a positive direction.

Hi, my name is Chris and I’ve been an apprentice at Xbite for eight months now. I work in Accounts alongside a great team who’ve aided my learning about the financial side of how a business operates. The team are very supportive and always help when I run into an issue.

My apprenticeship scheme is Business Administration although when it is complete I’ll be moving onto getting my accounting qualifications.

Throughout my time at Xbite everyone has been very helpful and kind, it’s very hard to have a bad day.

    Iestyn Taylor - Warehouse Operative

Hi, my name is Iestyn and I work within the Warehouse at Xbite. I applied for the position through Chesterfield College and I couldn’t have been welcomed more!

Xbite is a great company that offers tons of benefits and opportunity for progression. I started out by learning the basics of picking and packing, I worked really hard and then I eventually had the opportunity to learn all of the aspects of goods in and out of the warehouse.

I can now operate in all sections of the warehouse and I really enjoy it. I’m about to complete my final exam of my Warehousing Apprenticeship

  • Wade Harris - In House Brands Manager

Wade Harris - In House Brands Manager

After completing my A-Levels in Economics, Business Studies & Psychology I joined Xbite as an Apprentice Buying Administrator in 2014.

When I had completed the course in 2015, I was offered the position of a permanent full-time Junior Buyer. After a successful year in this position, I was given the opportunity to join the new and exciting In-House Brands team as a Junior Buyer.

In 2019, after 3 years progressing from a Junior Buyer to a Senior Buyer I was then given the responsibility of running the department as the In House Brands Manager. I now oversee the day-to-day tasks of the team, the development and manufacturing of our own branded products & the delivery of key departmental strategies with particular emphasis on the sales performance of products.

Over the years, Xbite has given me the opportunities to really push myself and progress in my career. The internal support and leadership has been amazing and is one I don't think I'd get anywhere else.
