Coordinate projects from conception through to implementation - scoping requirements and identifying goals for each project.
Act as the Product Owner where required in the Agile/SCRUM development process.
Engage and liaise with stakeholders to understand the needs of individual projects.
Work with Project Lead Developers (eCommerce, Hub4HR, Antler) and Head of Tech Development to schedule, estimate and assign work. Work together to plan and create the product roadmaps.
Produce specifications for implementation of projects, acquire sign off and approval from stakeholders, and then work closely with Project Lead Developers to convert this into stories/tickets.
Ensure projects are on track, and keep all interested parties up to date with the status of projects.
Identify and implement KPIs and project milestones to help set expectations on progress and delivery.
Seek opportunities for improvement and suggest new projects, but also highlight potential risks/problems and act proactively to resolve issues.
Perform data gathering, handling and processing into actionable or usable insights.
Highly organised, familiarity with working with gantt charts and project management methodologies, with the ability to adapt your approach as and when required.
Experience with Agile Software Development process is essential - utilising Scrum and/or Kanban, etc.
Passionate about product development, starting at concept through to delivery and to ownership.
Understanding of the retail eCommerce industry, and the ability to bridge the gap between technical development and commercial requirements.
Technical competence and familiarity with software development processes, database design and development.
Understanding of MVC architecture, and PHP MVC frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony and Zend.
Experience with UX/UI design, including familiarity with wireframing tools for design.
Great interpersonal skills, understanding and management of stakeholder relationships aiming to acquire good buy in from all involved.
Experience with Jira for software development and Jira Service Desk
Project Management and Product Owner qualifications are beneficial to your success.
A willingness to learn new skills and techniques to aid your development and progress for the company.
