We are currently looking for warehouse team leaders to help support our supervisors in getting the best out of our people. Whether its coaching & mentoring or monitoring performance, we all want to find the most efficient and effective ways of working. We think team leaders are essential to this.
ApplyUse Warehouse Management System (WMS) to record and monitor daily KPIs
Record and monitor both productive and none productive hours within the operation
Escalate issues to line manager (operational, defected equipment, personnel)
Monitor the use of correct wearing PPE within the operation.
Challenge any visitors, drivers, contractors on site regarding Signing in, permits to work and PPE
Comply with Health and Safety legislation, as well as company policies, procedure and site rules
Assist Warehouse Supervisor with weekly, monthly, annual safety checks, including actions
Maintain Hygiene standards, regarding both the warehouse and the workforce.
Assist and carry out monthly 1:1’s with warehouse team, to cover coaching, development and areas for improvement
Assist in the compliance of operational processes
Be aware of site security measures, ensure the team are compliant with these
Challenge any visitors, drivers, contractors if not following site policies and procedures
Be able to cover the warehouse supervisor in their absence
